It’s been a while since I’ve written anything, and seeing as I’m right in the middle of the covid 19 pandemic and have been staying home for 2 weeks, I thought that now would be just as good as ever to update my blog with some personal details.

covid 19 virus

I won’t bore you with details about the pandemic. There are better resources then me that can explain it and honestly, if you don’t know what it is by now, then you have much larger problems in your life.

What I can tell you is that for myself, not a lot has changed. I don’t go out that much anyway because of my limited mobility ( arthritic knee ) so spending days in a row at home is par for the course. What has changed is that I have two more people around. My girlfriend Tam, and her brother Tho. Tho stays in his room for the most part. Tam and I have been spending a lot more time together and so far it’s just confirmed what we always suspected, that we could spend all day together and get along swimmingly.

It’s been and adjustment though. I’m used to having more quite time, and no interruptions during my live stream. I’m not complaining. I’m just saying it’s different, and sometimes it takes me a few days to adjust to change. I have been trying to take this time to work on a few projects that I’ve been wanting pursue. I downloaded a to do list app to help me stay on track every day. It’s not working as well as I hoped it would. Apparently my ability to somehow ignore things that are important to myself, even when looking directly at a reminder, knows no bounds. I’ll keep at it though. Even if it helps me get 50% of the stuff I wanted to do that day, that’s a marked improvement.

I’ve been trying to work more on promoting my Twitch live stream. Every day I’ve been scheduling tweets to post during my stream to promote it. I’ve been posting positive centered videos on Tik Tok, and have been working on editing my streams to highlight key moments to post them on social media. Hopefully this will all pay off eventually.

That’s all I have to report. I’m working on some bigger posts in the future having to do with my views on being a live streamer at almost 51 years old, and some of the developments in the world around how it all works. I should have my first article up within the week. Unless for some reason I forget or ignore it.

Keep your fingers crossed.
